Charitable Contributions
Philanthropic Donations from May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021 totaled $68,650. In addition, $19,500 in scholarships was also awarded to 18 local graduating senior and two continuing college students.
Since its inception in 1978, the Angel Society has generated more than $4.26 million for local charities and a variety of other worthy projects benefiting all ages and groups in the Fallbrook community.
Organizations seeking financial or other support from the Angel Society must submit their requests in writing to:

Requests must be from a non-profit organization and include their 501 (c) (3). We are unable to fund requests from churches or political organizations. It is possible to assist a church with items from our Thrift Shop for a specified project.
A philanthropy committee reviews all written requests from non-profit organizations and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.
In your request letter, it is important to state exactly what your organization does, how many are served, include any specific needs and any other organizations you are working in conjunction with. You might also add when/ if the Angel Society has helped your organization in the past.
If you would like the Angel Society to participate in one of your organization’s fundraising events, please submit your request letter well in advance. We do like to help “sponsor" other nonprofit organization's events.
We review request letters on a monthly basis. Depending on the number of requests we receive each month, it could take 1-3 months cycle for us to review, have our Board of Directors approve, then mail a check. If you are uncertain that your request has been received, feel free to call the Angel Shop and ask one of our Directors for the Philanthropy Chairman to contact you.
